Artis
The Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund is supporting Artis' grants program. Founded in 2004 and based in New York and Tel Aviv, Artis is a nonprofit organization that supports and promotes Israeli contemporary art throughout the world. Artis' goal is to foster partnerships and cultural exchange by supporting innovative projects, creating opportunities for art professionals to visit Israel, and expanding audiences for Israeli art online, in print, and through cultural events. Artis offers competitive grants support to Israeli artists who have been invited to present new or recent work at a recognized cultural institution.

American Jewish World Service
The Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund supports the American Jewish World Service (AJWS). AJWS is an international development organization motivated by the imperative to pursue justice. AJWS is dedicated to alleviating poverty, hunger and disease among the people of the developing world regardless of race, religion or nationality. Through grants to grassroots organizations, volunteer service, advocacy and education, AJWS fosters civil society, sustainable development and human rights for all people, while promoting the values and responsibilities of global citizenship within the Jewish community.
